I just went and spoiled the Modern Warfare 2 story for myself.

Stupid move to be honest. Campaign is so much better than MW1, and almost as epic as Uncharted 2.

Oh well. I blame the French and the Yanks for leaking the videos, and myself for not resisting the temptation.

I thought it was the Russians.
That was mostly because one of the leaked videos I've seen had some Russian spoken in the background (I was sure it was, I somewhat understand Russian)

Well the videos I've seen had Americans talking, but the vids with the French have been removed.

Never seen any videos with the Russians though.

I didn't care either until CoD4.

I never cared for the game at all until I picked it up as I wanted a new game for my PS3 at the time, and I found it amazing. Plot was mostly shit, but hearing the plot overview for MW2 got me too excited, and so I spoiled what in my opinion was an awesome suprise :(
